Thursday Night at Neptune’s
I’m taking a trip to Boulder this week!
I’ll be giving a slide show called “High Places” this Thursday night at Neptune Mountaineering in Boulder. The show is about free soloing (the Diamond and Castleton), learning to skydive, wingsuit and BASE jump, and what all these things have in common–namely, dealing with fear.
It’s always an honor and delight to do a show at Neptune’s, but even more so for me this time, because the film portions were shot by Boulder locals Peter Mortimer and Nick Rosen of Sender Films. This includes some extended versions of the clips that are in The Sharp End.
As well as being Valentine’s Day (the favorite holiday of those who are highly infatuated!), this weekend is also the first anniversary of the prAna store on Pearl Street. I’ll be giving away a few prAna goodies at the Neptune’s show 🙂
prAna is also planning a few other things to celebrate and thank the local community, prAna family, friends and customers for a great first year in Boulder.
