Music

Hi Steph! How’re you? I write because last week I was in Brixen, for the International Mountain Summit, and I saw the movie “The scene”. It was amazing and I like very much your part expecially when you’re training in your indoor boulder! It’s simply awesome! I would like to have a room like that! However my season it’s almost over… we have snow yet and it’s quite cold. I’m a bit sad but I hope to begin ice climbing and dry tooling soon! Do you practise these kind of climbing? Or you prefer rock climbing for the whole year? I see also some pictures of your solos and I notice you listen to music some times. I wanted to know if it is helpful and what kind of music are you listening to.
Hope to hear from you! Kisses
Sincerely
Edoardo

Hello Edoardo,
I like to rock climb all the time….usually I only ice climb when I have to 🙂 I like to listen to house and trance music, like Paul Oakenfold. I like M.C. Solaar, a French artist, and seem to listen to him a lot when climbing.
🙂 Steph

Also on the subject of music, but from a different perspective…
Do you ever play the piano any more? And if you do, do you think there is any conflict in your fingers with climbing?

I don’t play at all right now: i’m always so busy! but every once in a while, I do try a little, and then I notice that my fingers are pretty slow from lack of practice, but definitely strong 🙂
