Hello from South Africa/UK

howizt,
just would like to ask if you ever come over to the uk for seminars or to climb, also have you made any dvd’s i:e climbing or base jumping ? It seems most of the good quality ones comes from the states, i have seen the clips on your site and it leaves us just wanting to see more!!!
take care thanks
kieron (have you ever climbed in south africa? my home)

Hi Kieron,
I do come to the UK sometimes, most recently for film festivals, which have always been great. I really like the cider 🙂
I have not produced any DVD on my own. The last one I was involved with was Sender Films’ “The Sharp End.” To me, that was a really good experience, because Peter Mortimer and Nick Rosen did the filming, and then they made the final edit. The story they created from those climbs is very much as I would have told it myself, if I had been doing all the work of editing. So I was really happy with that project.

What I really like to do is to make 2-4 minute video clips of things I shoot myself and with my friends–like some of the ones you’ve seen on this website. I have a vimeo channel where I post all the clip stories I make, so maybe you’d like to check that out.

I have been really wanting to go to South Africa! That is pretty high on my list, of “place I’d love to visit,” both for climbing and for base jumping.
Thanks for writing me!
🙂 Steph
