Hi Steph,
I just finished your book “High Infatuation”, in fact, I could hardly put it down at night even when faced with an early wake up alarm…
Your writing style is so refreshing! Rather than reading about how rad a route is, or how the author almost died, or how “easy” it seemed on some 5.13 crux, you pretty much told it like it is: scary, frustrating, tiring, intense, and so rewarding there is nothing like it in the world. Your raw, honest, detailed accounts of personal life mixed in with climbing life are special.
I especially enjoyed your Salathe chapters. I did the Salathe Wall with some college friends in trad style, but clean, in 1979. We were up there just a few days after Max Jones and Mark Hudon attempted their free ascent, and there were lots of chalk marks confirming their impressive effort!
Thank you for writing this book and I hope another one is coming soon!

Thank you Jeff! I really appreciate your taking the time to write, and I’m glad to have triggered some good memories for you, of all you guys going for it up there back before I ever started climbing!!
