Width of Sprinter Van Living Space

Hi Steph,
I hope my text finds you in good health. I want to thank you for all the advice you’ve given freely.
Im sure your time is precious as it is for all of us so I’ll make this short. Can you tell me the actual width of the sprinter vans in the cargo area after the side insulation & paneling has been installed. I’ve researched it but I’m not sure if the number I’m getting is before side paneling or after.

Hi Laura,
I just went and measured the interior space of my van: it has insulation and wall covering, though the wall covering is very thin (it’s a felted carpet-type material). The actual width of the finished interior space is 64″. We have a queen sized mattress in the back on a platform, and there are a few more inches of space either side of the mattress: I keep some paperback books in the space on my side.
Also, just in case you were wondering, the height of the interior finished space is 74″ from floor to ceiling, and there is floor covering and the same felted carpet + insulation on the ceiling. My husband Ian is 6’3″ and he can stand without slouching (just barely!).
