The irony of summer in the desert is that you want to stay up late and enjoy the beautiful cool nights, but then if you don’t get up early, you’re going to miss the calm, crispy mornings.
Which is what happened to me yesterday when I tried to go out for an “early morning jump” at 11:30–and nearly roasted to death in the sun before I was smart enough to turn back around. Some people just don’t learn. 🙂
This morning was beautiful, cool and quiet. Moab just the way I love it.
