La Belle France
Every jump we did in France last September was unforgettable. My top two favorites of the trip were the Chateau des Chevres for its unique formation, and Varan. Varan seems like one of the ultimately aesthetic flights of the area, and I hope to go back and jump this mountain again someday. We were lucky to jump with Roch Malnuit, a super-nice and super-rad second generation base jumper: Mario jumped with his father back when Roch was just a little rugrat! (Now Roch has enfants of his own and is a respected wingsuit pilot in Chamonix.) As a result, we ended up with a plethora of camera angles on this flight, since Mario and I jumped together and Roch followed us off.
Vive la France, and Vive Varan!

Holy cow, that is just too unreal!!! Looks like the most fun a human being could ever have! I love how you put it with that song to, because awhile back you introduced us to it and I always associate it with you when it comes on my ipod. and it makes me push extra hard when I’m training 🙂 Right on steph!!
I’m glad you like 🙂
This was incredible. So inspired by you Steph! I have been thinking of taking up sky diving for just this type of jump. Maybe when I am retired?
why not? 🙂
soooo awesome, hope someday i get to do it myself. thanks for the inspiration Steph.
you should come to Monterrey (Mexico) and try base jumping from Huasteca. some have done it already.
Someday, I hope 🙂 gracias!
