Kitties!

Hi Steph,
My name is James. I love your blog because it has all (well, most) of the things I love: climbing, simple living, awesome vegan food (especially cookies), pups, and kitties. I’m emailing you because I recently read your post titled “Kitty Love” and wanted to send you a couple pictures of Faunus.

She was my small furry companion until last fall when she was hit by a car speeding through my neighborhood. I backpacked for a month in the Sierra’s in memory of her awesome life. She is now returning to the earth in an abandoned fruit orchard by my house in Santa Cruz, CA. You don’t have to post this on your blog or anything, I just wanted to show you some cute pictures of kitties.

I have also included two other pictures. The third one is a picture of Eo (pronounced ee-oh, which was the sound of her meep when she was a kitten) and her newborn kitties: Muzzy, Ukio ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCTBHm29SrM ), and Little Snarf (she looks just like momma Eo). The last picture is of a cat named Luna and her newborn kitties. Unfortunately, there’s only one cat currently living at my house. Eo ran away 2 christmases ago, Snarf ran away a year ago (she’s like her momma in more ways than one), Muzzy and Ukio live with people that moved out (because they birthed a baby of their own now), and Luna lives with people that moved out earlier this year. Thanks James, and I am so sorry to hear about Faunus 🙁 She was totally beautiful.
