Hit me one more time…
Goddurnit, I crashed my parachute again.
I will say this, I appear to be an extra durable person. So that’s good 🙂
There’s nothing like pounding it in at a remote landing area to make helicopters seem like the best thing in the world.
And nothing like a few weeks of lap swimming, weight lifting and the fingerboard to make climbing seem like the best thing in the universe! And just in time for fall desert season too!
As usual, I have a lot to be thankful for 🙂

(super big thanks to Ted Davenport and Chris Hunter for video, and rescue coordination)
Damn, heal fast. You will be even stronger $)
Oh no! I hope you feel much better soon.
We saw the Reel Rock FT at CSU last night, and there was quite a loud Steph Davis contingent in the room. 🙂 Every time you hit the screen (esp in The Sharp End) a large group of girls in audience started cheering! So, I think I can safely say, we in the Fort love ya and hope you recover quick.
Also, I think Pete M did a great job with your story. The movies were all so much fun and inspiring!
Thanks 🙂 I am actually climbing and hiking/jogging already! Should be jumping in a couple of weeks. I fractured my sacrum, but it’s pretty much fixed now. When I left the hospital, they told me to do “as much as possible; for this fracture, the more you do, the faster you heal.”
Yippee!! That’s the kind of doctor’s orders I can deal with!
I’ve never liked swimming, I admit, but it seemed to fix me like magic. After three weeks, now I’m kind of into it, so I keep going every day….
Glad you guys liked the Sharp End! Peter is an awesome film maker, and so nice to work with. I can’t wait to see it, myself!
