Hi From Belgium
Hi Steph,
My name is Roy Janssen from Belgium.
By coincidence I met you through facebook. Obviously you have (too)
many friends otherwise I could have send a friend request 😉 Thats
why I now use your email address…
Your climbing adventures are great, it shows true spirits and its a
joy for the eye! I am a climber myself, but on a average level,
nothing special. I love to read books and watch movies about free
solo, it has something magical, probably due to the total commitment
you have to put into it I guess. Anyway, you heard those kind of
things a 1000 times already by fan-mail 😉 I have books from Thomas
Bubendorfer and Uli Steck, probably you know them (?).
My biggest passion is formation skydiving (4-way) and its my work as
well. I am a fulltime jumper, part of the Belgian national team
Hayabusa. Maybe you have never heard of us, we are like Arizona
Airspeed training and competing. I saw you pictures of Eloy. Once in a
while we travel to there to do some training camps. I was wondering if
you jump a lot there… You also posted some pics from Lauterbrunnen,
Switzerland. I spend some time there with my Belgian friends as well
basejumping. I guess the combination of climbing and base jumping
together can be really fun!!
Anyway, maybe one day we see each other jumping somewhere on the globe! 🙂
Take care and have fun!
Best regards,
Roy

Hi Roy!
My parents live about an hour away from Eloy….very convenient! I usually combine visits to them with short Eloy jumping trips, so I’m there at least twice a year. I love Eloy!!
Maybe see you there,
Steph
