Hello From Hueco
Hey I’m a big fan of you and read that you used to climb a lot at hueco tanks in the winters. I actually live in el paso and climb at hueco tanks. I mainly do bouldering and free soloing but my friend is teaching me to rope climb. I was wondering if you’re ever down this way again, if maybe I could climb with you sometime!

Hi Andrew! Thanks for writing me!
I haven’t been to Hueco in years….I used to spend three months there in the winters. This was before all the rules–I used to be able to run that trail inside the park every morning with my dog, Fletch. Maybe one of these years I’ll get back down there, and it would be fun to do some of the routes….I only did two roped climbs in all the time I spent there!
