Evolving
Hi Steph!
I just discovered your blog and let me start off by saying that you are a truly inspiring woman. I guess my question for you is, how did you get to where you are today? Have you been climbing from a young age? Are you from a climbing family?
I guess my curiosity in knowing the answers to these questions is I’ve been a climber for 6-7 years and love it immensely, but I want to evolve as a climber and am not sure how.
Thanks a lot
Robyn
Hi Robyn, thanks for writing to me 🙂 I started climbing when I was 18, as a freshman in college. I would say I got to where I am right now by always following my passions. Those passions have been music, books, writing, adventures, climbing, base jumping, dogs, cooking and stories. Among others. I don’t come from a family of climbers, but my brother is an ER doctor and an adventurer. I think the way to evolve in everything is to find the fun and excitement in whatever you are doing. Don’t be trapped by the past, or by the present. When you feel it, go ahead and get it.
🙂 Steph
