AFF and Learning to Fly

Hi Steph,

Hope you don’t mind random emails from out of the blue but I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you’ve been.

Your book Learning to Fly came out just as I booked my AFF course. I read it twice in the weeks leading up to the course (I broke my heart over Fletch) and your words and pictures were never far from my mind when the fear set in or when I was the only girl on a plane load of blokes. My level 7 jump was one of the single best moments of my life – my instructor Mike and I tracking side by side on a sunny day with views over the sea.

I passed the course and am on to consolidation jumps now. I love tracking and would love to work towards wingsuiting one day.

I just wanted to let you know how much I love your books and the small but much appreciated part you’ve played in helping me follow my dreams.
