Dear Steph –
My wife Mary and I really enjoyed HI and I wanted to write to you to tell you. So did my wife’s mother. A huge thank you from all of us. Simple as that. I really loved your encounters with General Tahir and the chapter on Beginner’s Mind (among many other parts).
Mary and I live in mid Wales; one of the wildest parts of the UK, the Elan Valley; we climb a little (locally and in New Paltz NY), mountain bike, swim in open water and write books. This year Mary swam up the River Thames and trekked / kayaked in Newfoundland. So we love the outdoors and love good writing about it.
Please do visit and stay if you are passing. And thanks again for writing the book.
